The website has been set up as the most authoritative and up to date information on Scotland's moorlands, Scottish grouse moor management and biodiversity. It is aimed at policy makers and journalists as well as lecturers at universities, agricultural colleges, students,  school teachers and their pupils.  Ultimately the SCAET hopes that the website will become the main hub for anyone looking for information about Scottish moorland and its management.  

www.moorlandscotland.org.uk will be a dynamic site with topical news stories and the debates of the day, but it will also be a conduit to a wide range of information from organisations and scientists including SNH, SRPBA, RSPB, Macaulay Institute and The Heather Trust amongst others.
