            Our board of Trustees


            SCAET has three Directors, who are also charity Trustees. They are:

            Tony Andrews (Chair)
            Tony Andrews trained as a teacher after a career in the Royal Marines, and afterwards served for 26 years in the overseas career service of the British Council. Read more


            Alister Aitkenhead
            Alister was educated at Fettes College in Edinburgh and at the University of Glasgow. Read more
             

            Jean Howman
            Jean graduated from St Andrew's University, with a degree in Zoology. She is a member of the Institute of Fisheries Management and also a past chairman of the Salmon and Trout Association. Read more

            Trust Legal Adviser
            Jim Drysdale 
            Jim has been a solicitor for 25 years and because of a keen interest in all matters to do with the countryside has specialised in rural issues and the environment. He was key to the establishment of SCAET, and has since taken an ongoing interest as our legal advisor. He is not a Trustee.

            Jim is accredited as an Agricultural Specialist by the Law Society of Scotland, holds a Certificate in Environmental Law And is a Council Member and Treasurer of the United Kingdom Environmental Law Association.
