            Our team

Nicola Chalmers-Watson, Chief Executive of the SCA Educational Trust, has been involved in SCAET since its inception in 2003.

On her return to Scotland in 2003 to work with the Scottish Countryside Alliance, Nicola and Tony Andrews decided to set up the SCA Educational Trust to try to bridge the growing gaps between town and country, particularly in young people.

Nicola has wide-ranging experience in fundraising, charity administration and management and project development from her previous work with the World Pheasant Association, Leonard Cheshire, and most recently as Director of Fundraising and Membership with the Scottish Countryside Alliance.

After five exciting years building up the SCAET, Nicola remains fully committed to reconnecting Scotland with the countryside through an increasing range of interesting and exciting projects run by the Trust.

Nicola works closely with Ross Montague, Director, and George Macdonald, Development Manager, of the Scottish Countryside Alliance in our shared offices.
